I offer my most sincere condolences to Shòna Caoimhe Conor and John upon the tragic loss of such a remarkable man as Jim in recent weeks. Jim was a remarkable man whose contribution to McCabe’s and Foxrock Village was unprecedented and unparalleled in the history of the village.
Dealing with such a tragic loss at this difficult time is always very difficult and painful for those who worked and lived close to him indeed. The legacy of his contribution to the food and drink industry in Ireland and to the locality will live on long after his demise. I missed his funeral because of being overseas travelling at the time. I hope that Web Wines continues to prosper and thrive in his honour from now on.

Our deepest condolences to Patricia, Conor, Caoimhe, and Shóna on the loss of your remarkable husband and father. We have so many fond memories of time spent with Jim and Patricia at the Millstone Hotel in Ballyshannon, we were always thrilled to see the McCabe family walk through our door. Your father was a true pioneer, ahead of his time in introducing wines to Ireland and he left a lasting impact on our family and the town. His kindness, character, and the immense pride he had in each of you was beautiful whenever I met him. Armagh reached their greatest glory in Croke Park this year and I'm sure now it was for your beloved father. Our hearts are broken for you all.
Myself Sorcha, Herman, Aoife & dad up here in Ballyshannon just heard about Jim’s passing. We are shocked and saddened and are remembering a remarkable man today. Our deepest condolences to Patricia & Family.
