James (Jim) O'Connor

We first met Jim at 71 years of age knocking down our wall with a sledgehammer, the man was instantly infectious and memorable. A character and genuine lovely man who gave us a lifetime of memories in the brief time we knew him. We are sorry for his family and friends loss, who must have a lifetime of memories.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing, I knew him through John Lamb- he was always a gentleman and loved to sing

Had the pleasure to work with Jim in Imokilly Wood Products many years ago. Erected Garden sheds and fencing all over the highways and byways of Cork with him. Entertained us all with his stories from his Navy days. Taught me all there is no know about practical carpentry. Nobody could level a floor like him. Great memories.
