So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing and I know you will miss him terribly. We worked together for many years and I remember his great company as we lunched in the Regal, ever positive with great knowledge and clarity of thought and a great sense of humour he brightened even the darkest work days.
In retirement we still lunched occasionally, it was always a joy to meet him and indeed you both on social occasions. I pray you will have strength to bear these difficult days.
To David, Michelle, Nicole, Simon, and all the Owens family,

Dear Kay and David, Tim, Aisling.
My sincerest sympathies on the death of your dear Husband and Dad. I pray that God will comfort and console you at this very sad time.

I cannot really believe that this day has come. Jim (Jess/Jessie) and I go back so far together - would you believe 75 years, to our earliest days as very raw 1st year boarders in Mount St. Joseph’s College, Roscrea.
Subsequently, we both opted to study Engineering in UCD, and then both chose to live in Howth - albeit on opposite sides of the peninsula.

Jessie’s friendship, sense of humour, warmth and good sense have meant the world to me through all those years. I carry so many wonderful memories. He was a true, true friend.

May God Grant you Jessie your eternal reward.
Gerry
