Rachel Cullen & Family
Dad
You played a blinder and it was just pasted the 90 when God put up your number and called you off the pitch to a fantastic and fully deserved round of applause from neighbours friends and hoops fans alike..

You were a brilliant captain and leader who guided your team through everything with skill, strength, a strong word when it was needed fun, laughs, a few funny little sayings and always with love..

No doubt you're in the changing room with a cup of tea chatting and catching up with your mam, Gerard, Edel, Cillian and all of the others that God chose to take off before you (say hi to Ambrose for me)..

Don't worry you left us with a vice captain with all of your character and the team and the next crop of players will look after and love her as you taught us to for as long as she needs us..

I'll miss the texts and the phone calls but we'll keep in touch..

KOH love ya dad
Deepest sympathy to John and all the family on the passing of your dear Dad.
May his gentle Soul rest in peace.
In our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.

Well dad, you made your final journey after 90 year's, one month and one day, your journey was long but not long enough.in so many ways. And the family had a cup of tea together to wish you a safe trip to all your loved ones that are waiting for the main man. Love you forever, will miss you forever. Patsy. X
You'd do anything for us, and we'd do anything for you. A roll model for us all and so deeply loved.

We miss you, but your legend will live on through all of us.

We'll look after Nana for you until you can dance together again.

Love you x
Nana, Dad, Christine , Patricia, Jimmy and Ken , thinking of you all x rest now Grandad, you were a gentleman, our gentleman

Deepest sympathy to all the family on the passing of your beloved Jim. May he rest in peace.
To friends and neighbours you are correctly described as a lovely man/gentleman/great neighbour. To me you were just Dad. A little 3 letter word that filled our world. I know we meant everything to you and I hope you know how much more you mean to us. Family was your greatest achievement, your pride and joy. You loved us unconditionally, worked hard to provide for us, took pleasure and pride in everything we did. You spent 71 of your 90 years with Mam by your side, 66 of those years as Mr & Mrs J Smyth. I won't lie and say never a cross word spoken but you loved the bones of each other and Connie without Jim is such a sad sad thing. Don't worry we'll look after her well for you. So for now Dad until the next "cup of tea in your hand with your family around you" Goodnight and God bless. Christine x

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I knew him years ago from when I worked in my parents petshop in sallynoggin. We had great banter together when he’d call into get dog food. He even gave me a card with a prayer on it & wrote a lovely note (which I still have to this day) when I was due to have an operation on my back.. I’ve often thought about him. He was such a gentlemen & always had a smile on his face. RIP JIM
