I have very fond childhood memories of chatting to Jim when I was walking in Skeough. He'd be out to settle the barking dog, cutting the hedges or on his way to the hurling pitch. Always a smile and a friendly hello. Jim always called to Mum's house with holly at Christmas. A gentleman.
