Jim was a wonderful, kind friend whose smile lit up the room. We will miss the twinkle in his eye when he recounted an anecdote from his prodigious store of memories.

Jim was modest and unassuming about his great knowledge of local and national history, generously sharing the results of his meticulous research. He was also a terrific and entertaining theatre critic.

Above all, we will miss Jim's company.
