Rest In Peace, dear Uncle Jim ~
The news of “Captain Jim’s “ demise has shaken me to the core, even though we knew he was unwell for some time He gave me my first job in the mid sixties and we were friends ever since. It was easy to be friendly with Jim even though he did not suffer fools gladly. His fascination with all things military was amazing and to me he was always Captain Jim. His real forte , to my mind was his excellence as a public speaker. What a special man. He will be missed by all who knew him
