Lily, Louise and Gail, condolences from my family to yours. With one good thing from Covid and modern technology we were able to share in the beautiful service this morning for Jimmy from here in Canada. I have fond memories of my trips to Ireland, first with my brother Jim and then wife Tracy with the opportunity to get to know Jimmy and all of you. Unlike my sister Marie who never built a taste for Guinness (see note above), time with the Christie family has made each Guinness I have a celebration of memories. We will think about Jimmy often and keep you all in our prayers.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Jimmy. We worked together in eircom during the 90s.
We took our morning break together and every day we had such a laugh. Jimmy had a very sharp wit. May he rest in peace

Remembering a wonderful childhood growing up together in Glasnevin .In the Summer we played football,tennis cricket and very often went to the pictures.I remember the first record player we saw and marveled at its output.Do you remember the night.we took our first drink.I looked up the AAs number the next day.PJKilmartins was always good for a Yankee on a Saturday.We finished the week with a dance on Saturday and Sunday night.These are the Happy Days I remember.Lily we will remember the good times and the many nights at Jacobs playiing Badminton.We will pray for the Happy Repose of Jimms Soul.Slan a Cara.

Dear Lily, Louise, Gail and Family,
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I will always remember my trip to Ireland when I first met my Uncle Jimmy. He took me to the local pub and introduced me to Guinness beer. I didn't like it much, likely due to my upbringing in Canada, but Jimmy just laughed and said that I would acquire the taste. I never did acquire the taste but this memory and the fun we had that night always makes me smile.
