I am so sorry to hear just now of Jimmy's death. Deepest sympathy to his wife and sisters. What a loss to animals and humans. I first took my cat to him in Clancy and he's seen my family through at least 6 cats since that time in the 80's. He was exceptional, kind and gentle and funny. Thanks Jimmy. You are missed.

Our deepest condolences to you at this sad time. As I was a very young child in Lissenhall I have great memories of his wonderful infectious laugh, his kind face and big mustache, I always remember asking mam if Jimmy was the real Magnum PI. A lovely gentleman. Truly sorry for your loss.
My heart was broken to hear the news. We have lost a true gentleman and a very kind and loving vet to all. I will never forget my first meeting when I got my puppy Molly. She was there for her first injections and was shaking he scooped her up in his arms and petted her while doing the shots and she never even noticed. I was so thankful and always will be he was an amazing vet and a lovely man .11 years on she is doing well all through the good care from Mr Fox. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pleasure of knowing you.

Deepest sympathies to Jimmy's wife and family I have been attending his surgery in Finglas for the last 18 years always so friendly patient and very kind to my dogs RIP
We were so very sorry to hear of Jimmy's untimely death. He was a gracious and self-effacing gentleman, ever polite, compassionate and warm. He looked only to what was good and just. He was unstinting in his support of the guide dogs and those who needed his help - going well above and beyond the call of duty. He gave freely of his time and experience and his loss will be all the greater to a community that will never fully understand the impact of his demise. His giving was so quiet and so gentle and so humble that the true extent of his generosity and kindness will never be properly known. Jimmy imbued all those qualities that combined are both rare and brilliant and there will genuinely never be any one like him again.
We will never forget him, his kindness or his decency.
