God rest you Jimmy, you were always a nice man, I remember getting a pup from you years ago when your dog had puppies, and stopping in your shop on the way to school most mornings, you would always be friendly and many times if we were short you'd just say pay next time if you have it, you were a true gentleman, God rest you, sincere condolences to your family, Jimmy helped feed many a poor family by giving shopping on credit until end of the week, never turned anyone away, God bless you Jimmy.

I got to know Jimmy well during my Moy years when he was pivotal in getting our Company to sponsor the Tipperary football team.
In recent times we rekindled our friendship as we golfed with the Cahir Park seniors.Jimmy was pure gentleman and fun to be with as he regailed us with his wonderful stories.

God rest Jimmy. He was an amazing man. I remember him for organising the Clonmel Reunion every year in London . Over 200 Clonmel people would join with 400 Tipperary immigrants at John Barkers in Kensington for the reunion. We had some amazing nights. Condolances to Claire and James and family.
