A great character and true Dub. We used to meet at the Co. Board meetings, and we'd always have a chat. He used to refer to the young ones helping out with juvenile teams etc. in Raheny as his "banana dancers"! RIP Jimmy

Deirdre, Sinead, Grainne and James So sad to hear about Jimmy's passing

Jimmy was a funny loving man who loved camogie and anyone who played it, he believed and motivated everyone. In an era when female sport found it difficult to get any recognition Jimmy fought for us. I have fond memories of going back to raheny club after Dublin training and being so jealous of their facilities...Jimmy always treated me to a mineral and snack, v kind considering I played with another club!!!

We had such fun days travelling all over the country, Jimmy helped shape me into a better person he will be missed x

To all of Jimmy's dear family,
I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.
As a young Kerry exile in Dublin Jimmy gave me an education on all things Camogie, Dublin, Politics and Canaries/birds no less !
We had such fun days travelling all over Dublin and beyond, for colleges Camogie , and Jimmy as our chauffer- how lucky we were to have him , looking out for everyone and encouraging the love of comogie in the girls. Always obliging and good humoured. He contributed hugely to many great memories amongst many sports girls, when female sport was not a priority.
Rest in Peace Jimmy, up the Dubs ! Thanks for all you did for Manor House Camogie.
