Only heard today 30/04/ of the passing of Jimmy. Our deepest condolences to all of his family and in particular Deirdre. May he now Rest in Peace with all gone before him. ❤️

My deepest sympathy to all of the Leonard family on the death of your beloved Jimmy. I know Jimmy from sitting in his seat reading the paper in the Two Sisters Pub, sometimes with his high Vis at the ready for his walk home. I loved sitting beside him and chatting about history, life, work and most importantly to Jimmy - his family. He always spoke about his daughter's with such pride and really enjoyed spending time with them.
My fondest moment was when Jimmy came to the AGS centenary parade at Dublin Castle where I marched in the gates of the castle as part of the ceremony. Jimmy as always was there beaming, looking a million dollars in his suit, sun hat and his personal caddy for the day. I have a beautiful photo of us from that which I will cherish. Thinking of you all during this sad time. My Jimmy and his gentle soul rest in peace.

Jimmy always made me feel very welcome when Seamus introduced me to the Glenanne hockey trips!
Jimmy was a stalwart Glenanne member always supported by Marie who was a lovely person.
He was so proud of his daughters and grandchildren and will be sorely missed

So sorry to hear your Dad passed away. He always remembered who I was and welcomed me home when I was back from Australia. Usually at the two sisters, but occasionally at mass. That’s a reflection on me not him. He was a lovely person.
