I have known Jimmy since coming to Meath in 1987.
We were in Meath Co Council together.Jimmy was a conscientious,able and valued worker who never let the team down.
Jimmy was my friend and no man could have better.
Jimmy was a self taught mechanic and a more knowledgeable mechanic probably did not exist in Meath or further afield.
I was deeply saddened at the illness Jimmy suffered during the last couple of years.
The memories of our shared moments
together are treasured by me.
I am sorry to have missed Jimmy's funeral as I was abroad
