Very sad to hear Jimmy has now passed away.
We knew him from the time he worked in Mc Connells garage and our very good friends , Hugh and Teresa Mc Connell .
He was always in very good humour and was a ver kind hearted man .

Jimmy was our van driver for over twenty years and had a great way with customers, even if sometimes a customer might give out about him being late, Jimmy would soon tell them where to go. Sincere sympathy to Eugene, Martin, Ann Marie and John and Jimmy's extended family.
I had the pleasure of working with Jimmy in McConnells for a long number of years and he was always a great workmate. I still have fond memories of the great time we had socializing , whether it was in Trabolgan , Castleross or just a night out in town. Jimmy was always the life of the party and great fun. Jimmy had a way about him that was rare and always had a great rapport with customers and fellow staff.
I also had the pleasure of being involved with Jimmy in The Roanmore Juvenile Club and he was a star whether he was with the small kids who flocked to him or his great efforts as Juvenile Chairman and especially the fundraising Talent contest. He also made a huge contribution to St. Otteran's Cemetery.
For all his contributions he was primarily a great husband to his beloved Ann and a great father his children.
Rest in Peace Jimmy, you will be sadly missed.
