My good friend Jimmy Larkin.. Rest In Peace..🙏 Many a good laugh we shared in Room 20 Crannogs of St Brendan's.. Jimmy would never like me to leave his room.. saying to stay longer.. he told many a story of his life in London where he worked for years and had some great night's out with other Irishman.. He worked hard there but enjoyed every day..He was a great family man.. Always came back home by boat 🚢 to see them..He never liked airplanes.. One Xmas myself and a few good friends of Jimmy's took him to town for a few hours..we had great fun that day..even drank a bottle of Bailey's going around the town of loughrea that Jimmy loved.. A visit to the Abbey to lite candles was the first stop.. he was always praying for others 🙏l am going to miss you Jimmy but we hope to meet again some day.. Sincere condolences to Vincent,Andrew and the Larkin family on the sad passing of Jim.A great character,he had many’s the great laugh while in St Brendans and loved when a funny comment was made.Rest In Peace Jim.

Jim was one of the kindest and thoughtful men I ever met. He would brighten up the darkest of days when he would call into the furniture shop for a chat on his way up the town, and would always have a story on his way back down again! He had a great memory and always remembered the small details and thought about everyone else first before himself. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Rest in Peace Jim x
