So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a great friend of my late father (Seamus) whom he worked with for many years in Kildalton College. Jim always had a few kinds any time I met him. Always mentioned my dad which was a lovely touch. Jim was a gentleman. May he rest peacefully.

without fear or favour , always seeking out the best solution for the Workers.

Very sorry indeed to hear of the death of Jim. I know Jim since 1984 , from our working together in Kildalton College. I loved to meet Jim , and his wry humour was a tonic. I willl miss meeting up with him , sad indeed.
