Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Leo. My sincere condolences to Maureen and family at this time. Knew Leo and Maureen back in the days in Hotel Kilkenny active club and also played a bit of golf together where we had many memorable conversations and was always regaled by his deep knowledge on any subject we spoke on. I remember him also from his soccer days with Bohemians in James's Park where himself and the late Johnny Walsh were full backs and spent most of the match arguing with each other. I will always treasure the memories of knowing and associating with Leo during his wonderful lifetime.
And when the final whistle blows
He will not ask your name
Or if you won or if you lost
But how you played the game
Leo McAdams always played the game.
