Sad news this. I remember you arriving into our 6th class Alan when your family moved to Island View from Fairview. I have happy memories of many visits to your home then, when your Dad (and your Mum) always put on a warm welcome. I remember in particular watching the Dublin v Kerry matches on telly there, in the days they used to play in black & white. Your Dad would shout at the Dubs (with us), while your Mum would fall asleep in her armchair. More happy memories of your Dad were to be made over the years in the Stuart. I hope he is happy in his deserved place in Heaven now, after a good life well lived. My sympathies to you, to Vivienne, Clodagh, Anne, David and all your family. I'm thinking of you all
