James was a much loved personality in Tarbert, and was warm, kind, and witty to everyone, young and old, who chatted with him. Tarbert is a lesser place without him. May he rest in peace.

My deep sympathy to Joan and James's children and all the Murphy family-I was a classmate of James's at St. Itas in the 50s and when I went home December 2014 was lucky to get to spend a lovely evenig with James ,his cousin Vincent Coolahan and another former classmate Noreen "Dolly" Hanlon-with a year both Vincent and Dolly were gone now James has gone to join them-may he rest easy in their company...........
