Sincere sympathy to Katherine and the O’Connell family on James’s death. I have great memories of working with him for summers on the farm both in Lackyle and Mountshannon. He was my first employer and what a worker he was. Perfect in everything he did. It was a really pleasant time never to be forgotten. Sincere sympathies to Catherine, relatives, neighbours and friends of James. He will be greatly missed, but we are positive that James has entered his eternal home. What a remarkable person, James was comprehensive on the knowledge of local history as well as International history and politics. Indeed a genealogist ahead of his time. A brilliant conversationalist with vast wisdom and whit. James was a 'tasty' man in appearance as was his homestead. He is now reunited with his Quiz team and Labasheeda exiles from years gone by. A safe lodging and a holy rest to James in God's Kingdom.
