We at Lough Rovers were proud to get the opportunity to shoulder Jimmy at the graveyard.He was a great clubman and loved nothing better than to go back to cissy,s after a championship match. The best umpire in the business, we could always rely on him for a point or two if we were under pressure. A great character and a great loss.

I have very fond memories of Jimmy when growing up at the Lough Rovers Clubhouse.
Jimmy loved the Lough and loved going to matches, he would always be ready and waiting at the door when we would collect him for games.
He would throw me a few sweets before we got there and told me don't tell anyone now because they will all want one.
He was a character and always great fun.
