I've known Seamus since our early school days in the Friary and the CBS. We did our Leaving Cert. in 1962 and he has kept us together down through the years. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Very much taken by surprise on hearing the sad news of Jim’s passing RIP. My most recent memory of Jim was on Sat 7 September when I met Jim and Liz and had a few words. His warm eyes and lovely smile will stay with me. To Liz, family, extended family, grandchildren & friends my sincere condolences on this your sad loss.

Elizabeth, Maria, Ivan, Adele and the extended family, I am so sorry for your loss. Seamus was a wonderful neighbor. He was always chatty, friendly and a great man for the jokes and quips. I will miss the chats over the garden wall where he was almost always flanked by Bruce, Finn or Woody. He will be greatly missed by everyone on Alphonsus Rd. Sincere condolences to Elizabeth and family on the passing of our good friend and neighbour, Seamus. He was a man who always had his finger on the pulse of the neighbourhood, always ready to give a helping hand when needed and always keeping an eye on vulnerable people in the area. He did not hide his passion for the USA, always celebrating 4th July. He was a very active man, cycling in recent times since giving up jogging. His passing shocked everyone, he will be sadly missed.
