I was shocked and saddened on hearing of Jimmy's death. No matter the time of day, there was always a salute to be had and a quick conversation.

On behalf of everyone in KPFA, I would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Jim’s family and friends. We are deeply saddened to hear about his passing. Sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. Such a nice man. We often had a good laugh and a chat when Jim visited KPFA Listowel. Jim was so knowledgeable and could recall where every pipe and wire ran to, as he was hugely involved in the building of the
Listowel day centre.
Thanks Jim for all the lovely moss you procured for us to make Christmas wreaths every year, and you would never tell us where you got it....

Sincere condolences to Breda Paul and all the O keeffe family and all the Gallagher family.There is so much to say about Jim and so many funny stories to share.I worked with Jim for many years in Mount Eagle lodge and during that time we became the best of friends meeting each morning there for a cup of tea and a chat before work.Jim cared so well for all the service users who in turn loved and trusted him.Jim was always so obliging and any job was no bother to him.He went above and behond for us all.He was a true gentleman kind and caring and a pleasure to work with and we all enjoyed his great wit and sense of humour.Jim was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed by all of us.
