We have lost the most wonderful, kindest and generous Uncle, we will miss Seamas dearly, his endless entertaining conversations, his infectious laugh, and his DIY expertise, not forgetting a mug of tea with a slice of apple tart! Seamus was an institution having travelled to many far away lands outside of European territory on the ships, unfortunately his sailor life ended in the blink of his eye when he caught sight of my Auntie Rosie. He was grounded working in Jacobs, running marathons, hill walking . Seamus greatest interest was his home , family , friends and siblings. On reflection of our time together as his niece the most powerful thing about him was his unselfish willingness to help, share and give his time unconditionally. He was a brilliant uncle who cared and had endless empathy of kindness and understanding, which we all will miss. His laughter and politics debates were enormously entertaining. Rest in peace Seamus.
