There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so young. My heart breaks for you and your family. As the mother of a son of a similar age, this loss hits especially close to home, and I cannot imagine the depth of your sorrow. An 18-year-old life holds so much promise, so many dreams just beginning, and it feels unbearably unfair that he was taken so soon.

Please know that he will be remembered for the light he brought into the lives around him—through his laughter, his kindness, and the love he gave and received. His life mattered deeply, and his presence will always live on in those who knew him.
May you find comfort in the thought that his mother is leading the way home, holding him close once more. I hope you can feel surrounded by love and support in the days ahead, and find strength in your memories and in one another ❤️

i'm just a year younger then james was. although i never knew him i'm very sorry to hear about his death and i hope he rests in peace with his mother, aunt and cousin. my sympathies to his dad and brothers and i hope they find peace in this tragic time. clare is thinking of you and praying for james and his family.
