My sincerest sympathies on the passing of your uncle James, Ann, and to Gretta and your extended family at this difficult time, may he rest in peace.
I used to meet Jim a few evening every week for a pint. We had a bit of banter and the rest of the punters slagging us for getting two seats at the bar. He always looked forward going to the theater with his niece Ann. My partner Margaret loved Jim and enjoyed chatting to him.
Condolences to his sister, niece & nephews. He will be sadly missed.

So sad to hear of the passing of Jim. A through gentleman, a great conversationalist, always in good humour and really one of the good guys. He will be missed by all on the Maguire side and we send our condolences.
My sincere condolences to Jim's family. I'm so proud of my role in introducing Jim to the Wednesday Club where for some years we had the benefit of his organising ability and his participation in numerous events - all done while displaying a great sense of wit and humour. A great loss to the club. May he rest in peace.
Jim will be greatly missed by the Wednesday Club. He organised many events for its members and unforgettable nights at Sherbourne Park. He will be sadly missed. R.I.P
We are so sad that our friend and next door neighbour Jim has been taken from us. Jim was the best kind of neighbour, always there if needed but never intrusive. A thorough gentleman. He was a font of knowledge on the history of Templeogue Road and often regaled us with stories from the past in his own unique way. We shall miss him more than words can express. R.I.P

My sincere condolences to Ann, Alan , Gretta and the extended family on the loss of Jimmy. Thinking of you all at this sad time. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
I knew Jim for several years through the Wednesday Club. He was great fun, great company , knew what he liked and didn't like and was wonderful in twisting our arms to support his favourite charities. He contributed hugely to our enjoyment of social outings and various trips and never let his health issues get in the way. A lovely man and a proud Dub - may he rest in peace. We will miss him.
