His quick wit and good humor were always to the fore and he always managed to bring a smile to our faces - even when discussing our favorite Man Utd and their latest "no show". Always remembered for your lively personality, irascible sense of humour, and, above all, genuine kindness to everyone who crossed your path in St Anne's church. Many people in the parish will remember you as sacristan, Minister of the Eucharist, informal golf coach and, more recently, energetic leader of many a "sing song" in the parish resource centre. You have kept our spirits up in the two years of this pandemic and made sure St Anne's church was never silent. We are all in shock at your passing and everyone here will miss your friendly face at daily Mass. Many Masses will be said for your kind soul.
