We were truly saddened to hear of Tony’s sudden passing. He was every inch a gentleman with a great sense of humour and genuine interest in others. We will remember him with great fondness and keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

It was with great sadness that I heard of the sudden death of Tony. Tony was an enthusiastic member of the Fingal Seniors Golf Tournament and he managed the Donabate G. C. team for many years , ably assisted by his brother Brendan. He will be sadly missed by all who had pleasure of sharing his company and on behalf of the Fingal Seniors committee and members, I offer our deepest sympathy to Tony's wife, Miriam and all his extended family on their great loss.

Dear Miriam and family, I can remember meeting Tony during his visit to New York in 1966 or 67..I was a young child then, but I am happy to say that we have been able to keep a relationship with Tony and his whole family over the years. He has been a blessing to all and we realize this is a hard moment, but I am sure that he is in an place of abundant joy and love. I believe it, and it is a gift of comfort to all that miss him.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the sad passing of Tony, a true gentleman. We were in the same class through secondary school in OCS and I always found him to be kind and caring to all who came his way. A great footballer too I might add!. In later years, Tony also gave our Club, Cumann Scoil Ui Chonaill, open door to his class on our visits to the school recruiting players for our club and he always actively encouraged his pupils to participate.
