I was sad to see,only today ,march 02nd,that Jamie had passed in December .My condolences To his family,Ian,Jason,Mark,Nicola,Sheelagh,Baby Jacob,and Jasmine, To Peter,Eugene,Maria, sadly martina has only passed in the past few days. Happy memories of living on haulbowline,The O'Dwyers were our next door neighbours.Such a lovely family, They had a house at the start of nelson's tce..So a nice yard,high wall,so we'd often be there ,chatting and having the laughs..Just island kids, but each of us very close..One christmas eve,,We were at the same wall,looking up to the sky..Iv'e often thought about it through the years,,I really heard the sleigh bells,and saw the outline of a sleigh...Jamie was smaller than us,,i see his face clearly,he didnt feel too brave,so he went in to the warm kitchen..Always a little twinke in the eye.funny .I met him a few years ago,he still had that twinkle..Time has passed .But it makes no difference,when we were all like family. Fondly remembered alway Jamie🤗

My heartfelf condolence to Jamie's Children and extended family at this difficult time, I first met Jamie when we were colleagues in Ballincollig YMCA, he was one of the good guys, a gentleman with more than a hint of mischief!! As the saying goes.. 'because I knew you, I have been changed for good'! Rest peacefully now Jamie in God's loving arms.

He was a good friend and colleague when we worked together in the YMCA. Always in good humour and smiling and ready for a bit of fun even on the harder days. His faith was a huge part of his life but he didn't just talk the talk, he walked it too, ready to support and encourage in his relaxed manner. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

I have known Jamie for such a long time, growing up near him in Cobh and afterwards working with him in Irish Fher/Cambrex/Cordon. So very sorry to hear this news. Jamie was always friendly, affable and kind.

I will always remember Jamie as one of the first friendly faces in Cranford Pines. Jamie was my contact with the Christmas shoe box appeal. I played my first game of Yahtzee with Jamie as my guide.
