Very sad news. Our deepest condolences to Lucy and her family.
Sincere condolences to jan's family he was a true gentleman
I am very saddened to hear of the passing of jan Vagenknecht, a mechanical genius on Deutz Fahr machines amongst other things. He had a wonderful history, escaping from the 'Iron Curtain' when he was younger and in the military. His first throw of the dice here in Ireland was with the infamous O'Shea group and Zetor tractors but soon moved on to his beloved Green Deutz Fahr brand and never looked back. He was an incedible man in so many ways, great company and an encyclopaedia of World information. He always talked so proudly and obviously with much Love about his lovely wife and daughters that his eyes beamed when he spoke about you.
God be good to you Jan ,Rest in Peace and despite all uncertainties of this mortal coil, Rise again in eternal glory with Christ+
We'll all miss you Jan, all over Ireland!

owners the length and breath of Ireland. No matter which part of Ireland he travelled to he was always at his first call at 9am.The present success of Deutz tractors in Ireland is largely due to Yans hard work and commitment to the brand over the years.
