I got to know Jane and her beloved Amber, an extrovert golden retriever, when we fundraised together for the Irish Guide Dogs. Jane was a person of complete integrity and I would think that in a very long life she always lived to the highest standards. I like to think of Jane and Amber, reunited now.

My condolences to her family.
I encountered Jane Williams as a formidable teacher when I arrived in The High School. Her authoritative demeanour masked a person who cared deeply about the students she taught and her colleagues on the staff. May she rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of Miss Williams passing. I remember her from my days at Diocesan and High School She was an excellent teacher of Maths and she also had a wonderful appreciation of nature and wildlife and was always generous with her time for afterschool field trips My sympathy to her niece Lyndsey and her family and to her wider family circle
I will always remember Miss Williams as a very good maths teacher, a keen birdwatcher, and a person with a good sense of humour (as a schoolgirl, I was very surprised to experience her humour, as she was a formidable disciplinarian in class!). She was an amazing lady.
