Janet was so kind and gracious and it was always a pleasure and very uplifting to spend time in her company when she visited Kathy, Jeff, Anna and Bella in Kilkenny. We will always remember Janet’s caring smile, her colourful earrings and most of all her unwavering faith that was so evident in her daily life, particularly in recent years when she faced her illness with such resilience. As you all grieve for Janet may the beautiful memories be of comfort to Stuart, Kathy, Andrew, Margaret and all their families and Janet’s wide circle of friends.

My sincere sympathy to Cathy, Andrew and Stuart and grandchildren. I first met Janet in Westmanstown Bowling Club. People would say “Hasn’t Janet got a lovely delivery.” She also served on the committee for some years.
Nearly 20 years ago, we decided to take Bridge classes together. We continued to play as partners in Confey Bridge Club until 2020. She was a wonderful partner and a very good player too. Whether on the bowling green or at the bridge table, Janet was kind, friendly and helpful to everyone. May she rest in peace.

I will miss Janet's calming and kind influence on our social group. She had a great liking and respect for all people in the group and consequently was very much liked and respected in return.

My condolences to all her family and friends as I know you have lost someone very special and dear. But as we know it is only a temporary parting. John 5: 28,29 and Psalm 37: 9-11.
