Deeply saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to Ulka and all of Janet’s family. I count myself very fortunate to have learnt to horse ride from Janet and spend my Saturdays working at the stables. I have so many incredible memories of great times and adventures at Kilmullen and Cooladoyle, all thanks to Janet. Kindness, compassion, determination, appreciate nature, hard work, stickler for a clean yard and to get out in all types of weather – thank you Janet for everything. Rest in peace.

Janet was such a formative part of my childhood and teens. She taught me so much; about horses, kindness, determination and resilience. Cooladoyle was my second home for so many years, Janet and ulka were so generous in sharing their home and time with me and so many others. I am eternally grateful for all the kindness Janet showed me and the chances she gave me to learn so much. She leaves a legacy of so many kids who got to live out their passion under her guidance. Ulka , so sad to hear of Janet's passing. Such a lovely lady, she was a huge part of our girl's lives growing up, riding ponies there. They spent many happy times learning riding, Summer Camps where Janet looked after them so very well, with kindness. Fun filled Long Summer days making long lasting friendships, getting dirty and tired as children should and learning about Nature seeing Birds land on Janet's Hands as she fed them. What a wonderful experience our youngsters had, a Golden Time which will stay with them forever.May she Rest in Peace.
