when we lived in waterford. Janette was such a lovely person full of joy she was a real people's person, she went out of her way to help everyone. Im so sorry she has gone so young. Rest in peace Jeanette

We have lost a great friend. Janette was one of life’s most amazing people and what a true friend she was.
I had the pleasure of working with Janette for many years in the Stores in Wexford. She always had a smile on her face, asked you how you were and checked on you before you went home. We shared many laughs and indeed tears over the years but mainly the laughs.
Janette brought a light into any room and just made your day better. I will miss our chats and also our ongoing Wexford/ Waterford friendly rivalry which was never about sport oddly enough. I loved how she always asked me to play the Hucklebuck, knowing I never would but I did surprise her one Christmas. How she never forgot an Easter egg because as she said, ‘you’re never too old for chocolate’.
I will miss you dearly.
A bed of heaven to you Janette.

We are so sorry to hear of Janette’s passing. Our hearts go out to her Mother, her brother, extended family and friends and her ever faithful partner Dearest Fran. Janette could light you up with her unassuming friendliness and that great big beaming smile, she was a mountain of craic and divilment and we will always remember her that way. Our little island is a lesser place without her as she joins the great festival of eternity. We all know a man upstairs that will do you a favour and have the bar well stocked and ready to rock. Janette set new standards that I hadn’t even realised were possible for friendship, for being a colleague and for her signature positive outlook on life.
