I am very sorry to hear this news. What a gentleman. I was a student at the college where he taught in those early years 1965 to `70. I still have great memories of the teaching staff, from that time and their trojan efforts to get the school off the ground from humble beginnings. For those of us who could not afford to attend a boarding school it was a godsend. Thanks Jarlath for your kindness to all of us in those uncertain times. May you rest in eternal peace.

Sincere condolences to Ita and all the family on the passing of Jarlath. So glad I got to see him on my visit to Castlebar last summer. Great to reminisce about the wonderful holidays spent in Lavallaroe as a child.My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
