I worked with Jason in London back 89/90 and his office was next to mine. He’d pop in every so often with his trademark beaming smile for a chat. One day I invited him to a party in my friends house at the weekend. He was reluctant. ‘It’ll be all Irish’ he said. No no I said come along to the pub at least then you decide. Of course he eventually came along to the party where later that night I spotted him interviewing Meliza 😀. And the rest as they say is history. What a lovely fella and never a bad word. When he’d hear of the antics we got up to on a night out he’d walk away smiling saying ‘dear oh dear’. Rest easy Barnet supporter (when they were non league). My heart will be with Meliza and the family in Australia today Declan Arthur in Dublin.
