To Carolyn,
Thinking of you and the extended Burges family at this sad, lonely time as you prepare to bid farewell to a beloved Mum, Gran and Greatgran and a stalwart member of Brookfield LTC. I have so many memories of matches lost and won against Jean, games that were always fairly played. Unfortunately, due to a prior commitment, I cannot make the funeral in Rathfarnham on Monday morning but I will be thinking of you all as you bid farewell to your Mum, a fine, talented lady and tennis devotee.
