Jean, for your beautiful Jean, wife and mam

I cannot believe you're gone and yet Time doesn't know yet because it still moves. How could time not know?
But there's no one here with the Jeanie Mac laugh or bright caring curiosity. I was confident about our future, in time we would have chatted about our grandchildren together, we would be close again.
I had that dream that we were both climbing the difficult mountain of life - side by side in the efforts to climb .... I didn't know you were going to leave. I cannot believe you're gone. Miss you so very much, my first and always friend

Simon, I am so sorry to hear about Jean. I believe she was a beautiful woman in every way.
My deepest condolences to you, Sarah and Sean. I cannot imagine the depth of grief you are feeling at losing her so soon.
May she rest in peace and may you continue to have the strength and courage to face such a huge loss.

To Simon and all Jean’s family I would like to express my deep sadness for you all on hearing of her death. I remember her big smile, her warmth and ability to include everyone. Your loss is great but hopefully your memories of such a warm mother and wife will give you comfort in days to come.

I was very lucky to have met Jean through the tennis club in Blackrock, and then later walking our mad dogs on the beach at Williamstown. Jean was always smiling , and I always left happier for having met her . My heartfelt condolences to all her family . Emer

Deepest sympathy to all the family. I am so sorry to hear of Jeans death. I was in junior and senior school with Jean in manor House and we had many many happy times. She was a gorgeous girl both inside and out and as a class we shared a lot of happy memories. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing and condolences to all her family. I went to Manor House Junior and Secondary school at the same time as Jean. Her bright sunny personality was a quality I very much remember about Jean and it was still the same when I met up with her in Blackrock a few years ago . Rest in peace Jean.

I have such wonderful childhood memories of Jean during our summers as kids in Brittas Bay. She always had such a beautiful smile and when I last met her in 2019, she hadn't changed a bit.

Just heard of the sad passing of Jean, one lovely lady. Sorry to have missed her funeral today. Played tennis with her in Lansdowne many times. Met her American cousin in Nepal many years ago. Sincere sympathy to all Jean's family. May she rest in peace.

Dear Simon, Sarah, Sean, Frank and Declan, my sincere condolences to you all. My heart is broken at the passing of Jean. I loved her dearly and I was blessed to have been able to call her my dear friend practically my whole life, from childhood to the present day. I’ll miss her greatly especially her visits to me in brittas over the last 10 years. She was so beautiful inside and out, very kind and so loving. I’ll miss our chats especially and her smile and her laugh, she had a great laugh. I’ll treasure those memories forever. Over the last year I was lucky to have seen her and talk to her many times. She never once complained, always tried to stay upbeat. I’ll never forget my last meeting with her in the gables for breakfast about 2 months ago. We had such a lovely time together. As ill as she was at the time, she was still up beat and never complained. I’ll treasure that meeting forever. I last spoke to her about a week before she passed, she was saying we had to meet up soon. Very Sadly we never got to have that meet up. She was one in a million…..service was lovely. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there today or yesterday. Unfortunately I had a bad car crash on my way to pay my respects to Jean and all of you yesterday, otherwise I’d be there.
My dear friend Jean thank so much for your friendship all my life. I’ll miss you very much. I’m so glad your pain is finally over for you. I’m so sorry I never got to say goodbye to you. Love you forever. Rest in peace my darling friend. 💔

Very saddened to hear of my old school pal’s passing. We hand special days in Manor House Junior and fun times in the senior side. Jean will always be remembered as a great tennis player/hockey and such a fun person to be around. In later years meeting her out and about she was exactly the same - full of chat and smiling. Simon Sarah Seán Frank and Declan thinking of you all and my old tennis pal Anthea too. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
