What a character....full of craic! Home from Oxford Oct 2018...a tall elegant lady strolled towards me in Sandycove. I realised it was Jean...grabbed her by the elbow and off we went for coffee and a major catch up!
Beyond delighted that we managed this Pre Covid catch up

We are so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. Our thoughts are with all the family at this very sad time.

To Anne and Family, I was so sad to hear of the passing of Jean. She was a good friend of my Mum and very kind to her. She was a lovely lady in Killiney Golf Club and always had a chat and a giggle with me. I remember Jean fondly. Thinking about you all today. RIP Jean.

She was by all accounts, greatly loved and will be sorely missed by so many for her enthusiastic involvement in her social activity, particularly relating to her enjoyment of golf! She undoubtedly will have left behind many happy memories for you all to enjoy of your lives together when you have had time to adjust to her passing. When I was in Dublin she kept me in touch with events and was always so welcoming. She was inspiring in the way she dealt with the difficulties later age brings.
