Myself and Klaudia were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jean.

I have so many fond memories of her from our school lifts, to working as a clock tester at Darby Bros. I’ll never forget one particular St. Stephen’s Day when she looked after me with such kindness, even though I didn’t deserve it.

She so often welcomed me as if I were family member and that Christmas dinner—especially the spiced beef—has stayed with me ever since.

Jean leaves behind a huge legacy, and I know she’ll be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
