Dear Allan, Simon, David, Rhona and Jane,
Jean was one my favorite adults as I grew up next door. She showered me with kindness, affection and was always interested in my life as I grew into adulthood and now fatherhood. She was my mum's best friend, both helping each other through life's ups and downs. I will forever remember her jovial and energetic presence at my wedding - one of the most popular guests, as only Jean could be.

I was very saddened at the news of her passing. She was, and always will be a positive influence on my life and that of many other people.

May she rest in peace, and may you all find the strength with each other to grieve her passing and celebrate her wonderful life.
