She was like a big sister to me.

So many memories of my life long friend, just to mention a few.
Pitch & Putt in the Creek when we were only 15 years old.Working in Reckitts together for many years.
Our Saturday nights out by minibus to dance in the Arcadia. We had so many great times together.
I will miss Jean so much but have so many wonderful things to remember this wonderful lady by.

I first met Jean many years ago whilst like other first cousins working on the creek pitch and put course for the summer school holidays. I always enjoyed her company very much. She fought the good fight and is now reunited with her beloved Billy.
I hope you all take comfort over the next few days in some of the stories being told.

Vivian, Sandra, Jolene, Marty and Nicky. I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of your lovely Mum. She was truly a fabulous lady — always so warm, welcoming, and generous. She holds such a special place in my heart and will forever remind me of childhood days in the Creek, of her open door, her kindness, and the love she so effortlessly gave. She made everyone feel at home.

She was a very special woman, and I hope there’s comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Billy and Wendy. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. Mind each other. RIP Jean

I have so many fond memories of living with your mom and dad during the summer months when I worked on the golf course, before you were born. I still remember Vivian being born and crawling around with the plaster casts. Those were such special times, and I will always cherish them.

Your mom and dad were an amazing couple who truly lived their faith. They treated me as one of their own and reflected Christ’s love in the way they cared for others. I feel so blessed and privileged to have had them in my life.

I miss your mom deeply, but I take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in God’s loving presence. May the Lord grant her eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon her. I pray that God surrounds you all with His strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.
