So very sad to learn of Jeanne’s passing. As a frequent visitor to Portmarnock, her greeting smile and cheerful chat were a part of the welcome I felt there. She will be sadly missed. Thanks, Jeanne, for shining. The world is that bit darker today for your loss.

Lovely memories of meeting Jeanne in my sister Moira’s place in Portmarnock over the years. She was so generous in sending my mother gifts and caring messages while we were looking after her at home. Her conversations were so interesting and she came across as well travelled and informed. Her smile was catching. I’m sorry that I didn’t see her since she moved to the centre of Portmarnock. Sending condolences to her family and friends.
