I only heard of Jeanne's death today, from a friend in Sao Paolo. She was always interested in us as kids and never patronising. I had a terrific talk with her two years ago; I rather assumed she wd somehow go on indefinitely. I am very sorry that I missed her funeral. RIP.

Sincere sympathy to the Winder family. I never had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne but enjoyed Frank's company over the years - he took me up one of my first climbs over 50 years ago. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha. RIP

Jeanne gave of herself with empathy, kindness and wisdom to people with mental health difficulties. She will be missed may she rest in peace.

I feel very priviliged to have facilitated with Jeanne in Aware for about five years. She had one of the finest minds I have ever come across but her compassion, kindness and good nature are what I remember most. She touched so many lives and will long live in the hearts of us fortunate enough to have shared some of her journey.

She often talked about her family and I have no doubt as to how proud you all made her feel.

A truly wonderful person, my life is definitely richer for having known her. May she rest in peace.
