Remember Jennie from Rush North Beach and Harbour, "young Brophy" she called me. I always loved hearing all the stories from back in day about my granny and grandad, Vera & Con Martin. We had many funny conversations and some of her stories gave me belly laughs. Jennie had lots of time for me & my family, we all loved popping in to say hi when my grandad was in Rush Nursing Home, Jennie knew us all my name, we will never forget her.

She is up in heaven now having the chats with the gang.

Jennie worked with us in Rush for many years beginning in the early 1960’s. Everyday she arrived on her bicycle, smiling and cheerful. I remember her with great affection and gratitude.
