I have such fond memories of Jen growing up in Roscrea as she was the cool teenager who was always so lovely to talk to, also visiting later when she would be home with you Brian and children particularly at Christmas time. I can still see her making the cranberry sauce in the kitchen. Jen was a wonderful daughter to both her parents, wife to you Brian, mother, grandmother and sister. We are thinking of you all. My thoughts and love are with you at such a heartbreaking time. Jen was a wonderful force in the world. She welcomed me into the Roches Point family with a quiet word and a cocktail before dinner. I have the best memories of walking the road with her and Geraldine every morning when I lived there. I loved being an observer to their chat and gossip and ongoing debates about how to best manage puppy Spike’s cheeky habit of wandering the beach. Each time I visited she would share all the highlights of her kids and grandkids, as we walked the road. I loved her steady, warm nature. I know she will be missed fiercely by everyone who know her.
