My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Jenny's husband Dave, her parents, sister,and the wider McEntee and Wogan families.

I met Jenny doing the postgrad in Pats. She was a lovely person,great fun to be around with a warm personality. We all had some great nights out in Pats and Jenny was always great craic. I was very sorry to hear of her passing.

May you all find some comfort in the memories she has left. It is clear from reading through the condolonces that she had a very positive impact on many many people. May she rest peacefully.

I’m heartbroken to hear that Ms McEntee has passed away . She taught my son for 2 years . She looked after him so well he was always so nervous and she was amazing with him . I can’t believe she is gone I would check every year to see who was lucky enough to get her as a teacher . She always talked to me and checked how the boys where every time I seen here . I’m so sorry to her husband and all her family x she was a special person one I was lucky enough to know xx

So deeply saddened to hear of the heartbreaking passing of Ms. McEntee. Our deepest condolences to Jennifer's husband, Dave, her parents, sister and family and friends. Ms. McEntee taught our daughter, Ava for Junior and Senior Infants from 2014-2016 and she was an incredible teacher, Ava and all the class loved her so much. She was so kind and caring, class was always interesting, creative and fun. When my own mother passed during this time, she took such extra special care of Ava at that difficult time and had words of kindness and a hug for me too in the yard. A truly exceptional person and teacher. She will be missed. Rest in Peace Ms. McEntee x.

My thoughts and sympathies are with Dave and the family. I never met Jen, but she was incredibly kind and supportive of my bowel cancer fundraising efforts for which I will always be truly grateful. A really lovely young woman taken far too soon x

Although the children in my class never had the privilege of having Ms McEntee as a teacher, they have shared many lovely stories and memories of visiting Ms McEntee’s classroom this week. ❤️

It's been a long time but childhood leaves deep impressions and we spent eight years of it in a school where everyone was close - I remember sitting beside Jennifer in class, shared lifts from Pagestown in the back of Theresa Doyle's car, hanging out with the gang at the photocopier room and talking about ten-year-old things, going on school tours with our small class and Jennifer being classier and better-behaved than some of the rest of us! We didn't stay in touch, like lots of primary school friends but I remember that she laughed easily and happily, had a sensitive and caring and good heart and I'm truly saddened to hear this. So sorry for Owen, Dorothy, Theresa, all Jennifer's family and of course Jennifer herself.

Ms Mcentee was the kindest teacher I’ve ever had, her classroom was always filled with happiness and she took the time to get to know all her students, she cared about her students more than any other teacher in the school. She will be missed by so many. May her beautiful soul rest in peace

Our sincere condolences to Dave and Jennifers parents sister and family. We were blessed in having Jennifer teach our daughter Caoilinn for 2 years 2018 to 2020. To say she made an impact with the students and parents alike is an understatement. She gave our daughter a fantastic start in her education. She made everyone of her students feel special and cared for. And as a parent leaving a junior infant with her you knew they were going to be okay. She will never be forgotten. She was teaching my son Jack when she got sick and I can still remember the most thoughtful warming email she sent out to us parents explaining her absence and how to explain what was happening to the kids, she was a v special teacher and will always be remembered.

It is with absolute disbelief I write this. You always shone so bright. Your memories and impact will remain with me and others for a lifetime. You couldn’t help but shine and light the way for others. You inspired and influenced everybody you met. You saw the best in everyone and brought that out in them. You were such a wonderful teacher, friend and colleague. You made the world more beautiful by just being in it.

To beautiful Ms. McEntee, You were the most amazing first class teacher to Alex in 2016. Your warm smile and genuine love and care for the kids was such a comfort for us parents. Your classroom was a safe, fun environment where you knew each child inside out. The lovely stories you read to them and arts and crafts they came home with caused great excitement when they came home. You will never be forgotten in Dunboyne JPS. May you rest in peace forever.
