Saturday 6-7pm in the old ESB complex curragheen, every week back in the 80s you showed us how indoor soccer should be played. Once a pro always a pro Miah. It was a treat to play with you but a nightmare to play against you. The hour was run by Jury's Hotel and here are some of the names who turned up week after week to play alongside you. Paddy Byrne, Seamus Daly, Joe Forde, Kieran Murphy, Noel Loftus, Eddie Cogan, Richie Pratt, Mick Collopy, Declan Kelly, Matt Molloy to name but a few. Happy days ! Thanks for a whole bunch of memories on and off the pitch Miah, you were one of the greatest.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Miah's family and friends.
I was the referee for the 1972 cup final when Miah scored the first ever hat trick in an FAI cup final. He was a great player and like many of his team mates from those great days we became life long friends.
