I only just heard of the passing of Jerry. I have great memories of meeting him at Galway races in the late 1990's to the middle of the 0 IES. We spent up to1 and a half and 2 hours talking in the parade ring. He tipped me many a winner and I was delighted to repay that 1 night in Curraheen Park when we both had a touch. I'm gone from the game with a long time and that's why I only heard about it tonight. Rest in Peace Jerry.
