I was very saddened to hear of Jer’s passing. Although I hadn’t seen him for some time, I was very fond of Jer and of his beloved wife Merrie, who I remember with the greatest affection. Some of my happiest memories in Ireland were spent with them both. Jer will always be remembered by me with warmth and gratitude, and my heartfelt sympathies go to his family at this sad time
